Spring Dresses To Transition Your Wardrobe

Sharing a roundup of spring dresses to transition your wardrobe from winter while looking polished and chic!

The warm weather bug has bitten me and I am so ready to switch my wardrobe from winter to spring. It’s time to put away the heavy layers and break out the breezy dresses for spring!

I’ve rounded up the dresses that have caught my eye. A few of them have already found their way into my closet and a couple are in the mail.

And — yes, I know. Florals for spring? Groundbreaking.

Zip-Front Floral Midi Dress:

You may have already see this midi from my Reel in my GRWM for my friend’s baby shower this weekend. I’m wearing a size small and I would suggest sizing down from your true size. The dress is cinched at the waist to provide a flattering silhouette and then is flowy throughout the rest. I also like the sleeves have the right amount of puff, it’s almost like the Goldilocks of puff sleeves. Not too much, not too little. Anne Shirley can pull off the puffiest puff sleeves, I cannot. I’ve found these sleeves are flattering and I know I’ll be wearing this dress all season long!

Cinch-Waist Maxi Shirtdress:

This Target find is $35 and I think will be fantastic between now and summer. Be warned, this runs QUITE roomy. Knowing this, I originally purchased in medium because I know the ties at the waist would help offset the flowiness. The shirtdress arrived and it was also much longer on me than in the model above. To balance the length, I needed the shirtdress to be more cinched. I returned and ordered a size small. Hopefully it works out this time! I’ve seen others wearing this on my Stories and I love how it looks on them. It seems like such a great piece to throw on in the morning on busy days or to keep you cool in the summer heat. I would style with a pair of sandals and my favorite Sunshine Tienda sunhat.

Midi Shirtdress:

I think this shirtdress would be perfect for WFH spring and summer days or al fresco dinners. I would style it with a rattan belt to add structure and accessorize with gold hoops and classic ballet flats.

Shirtdress in Cotton Poplin:

You know I love a good, crisp white shirtdress! This J.Crew piece is en route to me and I cannot wait to style it for spring and all summer long. I’m picturing accessorizing with a colorful scarf tied around the neck or fun, colorful statement earrings. Dressing it up would be a snap, just add your favorite metallic strappy sandals. Can you tell I’m really excited for this dress to arrive??

Scalloped Shift Dress:

I love how J.Crew is bringing back their scalloped shirt dress. It was fantastic as a wardrobe workhouse 10-ish (!!) years ago and I’m so happy to see this style again.

White Jules Dress:

I have been on the hunt for a few years for a trench-style dress at a reasonable price and Tuckernuck’s Jules dress circles the square. We have family photos coming up this week and I think this may be the winner for my outfit!
