I’ve been a big fan of Rochelle Behrens and her life-changing button downs since 2018. Just why are they life-changing? Button downs are a classic wardrobe staple because of their chic, polished look and how they can be dressed up or down so easily. And while button downs giveth, they also taketh away. I’m talking about the dreaded gap that always seems to happen at the worst possible time. Rochelle Behrens solved this dilemma once and for all by adding extra, hidden buttons to ensure there is no gap in her shirts.

The Boyfriend Shirt is the looser, most relaxed fit of the Rochelle Behrens line. Like its sister Shirts, The Boyfriend Shirt also includes the extra hidden buttons to banish the dreaded gap. This is the perfect shirt for WFH and surprise surprise, my collection of The Boyfriend Shirts has grown since I switched to working remotely. I feel put together for on-camera Teams meetings and the relaxed fit keeps me feeling comfortable throughout my long desk hours.

Sizing Guide for Rochelle Behrens The Boyfriend Shirt
Like all boyfriend-style shirts, this is intentionally and perfectly oversized. I would recommend staying with your true size for this. I wear a size medium and I’m typically a size 8-10.
Is It Machine-Washable?
Yes! No need to drop this shirt off at the dry cleaners. I wash it with like colors in cold water and then hang to dry because it does shrink in the dryer. Once it’s dry, I iron out the wrinkles.
