Sharing a quick and easy to tie a neck scarf – I love reaching for a scarf to make a statement with my outfit!
In recent years, instead of statement necklaces, I’ve reached for a scarf to zhush up my outfit. I love how it adds a layer of dimension, and typically a fun print or pattern, to any look. There’s just something about them that makes an outfit look impeccably chic, stylish, and complete. Whenever I add one to my outfit, I feel like a more confident dresser. Scarves are a classic for a reason!
While silk scarves can get expensive, I am a big fan of the $48 scarves from Tuckernuck’s Pomander Place brand. They’re larger scarves so they wouldn’t work for this particular tying method. For this tutorial, my scarf is a $10 Amazon find and is 27″ x 27.”
A Quick And Easy Way To Tie A Neck Scarf
Step 1: Fold the scarf in half to create a triangle shape and roll like a hot dog.
Step 2: Place around your shoulders. Because mine is a smaller scarf, I arranged it so the ends were initially facing backward. This makes the next step easier for this sized scarf.
Step 3: Wrap the ends around so they meet in the front.
Step 4: Tie the ends together and adjust as necessary. I prefer shifting my tied ends off to the side.

My Favorite Way To Style This Scarf:
With summer heat, you can’t go wrong with a monochromatic white look. It’s an easy, breezy way to look put-together and stay cool. My shirt is The Boyfriend Shirt by Rochelle Behrens, it’s a boxier cut that’s perfect for hot days when you want a looser fit. Of course, I went with my tried-and-true white jeans from Talbots.
I tossed on a pair of gold hoops, added a pair of loafers (would also be really adorable with Sarah Flint’s Natalie pointed flats!), and grabbed my new rattan handbag from J.McLaughlin.
