Happy Wednesday!!

I sat down to write this post and when I was thinking about what I wanted to talk about, I realized I have a bunch of tidbits to share. So grab your coffee/chai/caffeine of choice and let’s chat.

1. Did you score any good Amazon Prime deals? I went a little overboard and picked up a sous vide, Instant Pot, and Echo Dot. I’ve had several friends swear up and down on their sous vide and Instant Pot and after going down a Pinterest rabbit hole of recipes for my new kitchen gadgets, I cannot wait to try them out!

2. I’m heading to Charleston early next month for a friend’s wedding. Do you have a favorite spot to recommend?

3. As a quick aside, I strained my calf muscle this weekend after attempting to run. I’m convinced it’s the Universe telling me not to run. So this week I’m working on styling the ever-fashionable KT tape at work. Can you spot it in the pictures? Am I nailing the look or what? 😂

4. I picked up A Million Junes from the DC Library and at first, I had a hard time getting into the story. It’s like Romeo + Juliet meets the magical realism genre and now that I’m getting to the heart of the story, I can’t put it down! Next up on my nightstand: The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck.

5. In my Pinterest recipe search, I came across this recipe for paella with cauliflower rice. Hellooo, Friday night dinner! Pair this seafood dish with a glass of chilled rosé and I’ll be one happy camper.

6. I bought tickets the other week to see Reese Witherspoon when she comes to DC for her book tour in September!! Legally Blonde is my all-time favorite movie and I had a poster of Legally Blonde 2 in my college dorm room. There’s a good chance I will faint from an overflow of emotions. Or burst into tears. Let’s be honest, both options are on the table for me.
