Holy humidity, Batman!! DC summer is back with a vengeance and I’m thankful for the miracle of air conditioning with a side of iced chai with almond milk. But despite the humidity, I feel like the summer is when DC comes alive. Festivals, rooftop happy hours, farmer’s markets, Jazz in the Garden on repeat is my plan for Summer 2016.
I already know I’ll have this outfit on repeat for happy hours and brunches with friends. I picked up this striped top and white jeans from Talbots over Memorial Day weekend and I’ve already worn it twice. Talbots Heritage White Jeans are crazy comfortable and unlike a number of white jeans, they’re flattering and don’t make me feel like my legs look like sausages. I plan on pairing these jeans with flowy tops for brunch and tees with a colorful scarf for Sunday morning bagel and iced chai runs (Priorities).
