Preppy Camel Coat

Preppy Camel Coat - DC Girl in Pearls

Anne Klein Camel Coat (Unfortunately, this coat is sold out but I love this similar camel coat from Ralph Lauren. More camel coat options linked below!) // J.Crew Factory Plaid Ruffle Shirt (My exact plaid shirt is only available in size small right now, it’s TTS. If you’re a size small, it’s $16 right now with code CLEAROUT. But good news – this ruffle flannel shirt is similar and is an extra 60% off with code CLEAROUT) // Tuckernuck Faux Leather Leggings (Last styled here with my favorite winter scarf ($39) + cap-toe slingbacks) // Eastland Patricia Loafers (Last styled here with white jeans, they are so incredibly comfy and add instant glam to the most casual of outfits – see above!)

Happy Tuesday! I don’t know about you but I spent most of Monday bundled up and in my apartment. Actually, I feel like I spent most of the weekend bundled up at home.

I did brave the freezing cold + winds to go to Call Your Mother Deli to catch up with my college roomie over a bagel on Sunday.

If you haven’t had a Call Your Mother bagel yet, omg you RUN and get one ASAP. I’m not joking. It was the best bagel I’ve had in a long time and after two bites, I was kicking myself I didn’t order another one.

The rest of the weekend when I wasn’t working on blog posts, I finished my first book of 2019, P.S. I Still Love You. I started Where The Crawdads Sing – it’s SO good so far. The author’s writing reminds me of Barbara Kingsolver, one of my all-time favorite authors. Follow along on Instagram to see more book recs!

And I assembled my nightstand from Wayfair and rolled out my new pink living room rug. My apartment is slowly but surely coming along and feeling more like home, I’ll share photos of it soon.

Guess I got more done this weekend than I thought I did!

A few similar camel coats I thought I’d share:
