I woke up on Sunday and just felt an Audrey Hepburn vibe. With a fun brunch ahead of me, I picked a crisp white button down and my longtime favorite J.Crew Minnie pants for an effortless yet chic look. A mint beaded statement necklace and pink satin bow flats along with a clutch completed the ensemble. Full disclosure: these ballet flats are adorable but after a couple of hours, I was dying to take them off. If only my Sperrys fit into that clutch…

The piece de resistance (and the inspiration for the post title) is my Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch. Lipstick always makes me nervous, I fear I’ll end up looking like a little girl who got caught in her mother’s makeup bag! Maybelline Baby Lips gives a swipe of pink color while providing lip balm. Think of Lip Smackers for all you 90s girl but grown up. Color without the anxiety. My dream come true. DC Girl in Pearls | Pleased as PunchDC Girl in Pearls | Pleased as Punch
