Lake Pajamas Valentine’s Shop Is Here!

Talking today about the adorable prints in Lake Pajamas Valentine’s Shop and a complete Lake Pajamas Weekend Set review.

Lake Pajamas Weekend Set Review

After this week, I am practically counting down the hours until I can close my work computer and change into comfy loungewear. It’s been an adjustment going from in-person 95% of the time at my old job to a hybrid remote/in-person situation but I think I’m settling in pretty well.

I did make a strict rule for myself that I have to get dressed in actual work clothes on days when I am working from home. It’s mostly business casual, especially since the workwear part of my closet needs a serious overhaul. But I knew that in order to feel my most productive, I couldn’t spend my days in leggings and oversized tees.

When I end my day and arrive home from Riley’s walk, that is when I can break out my loungewear and properly lounge. Lake Pajamas Weekend Set has been ideal for evenings on the couch, either reading a book or watching reruns of The Nanny (James gets a chuckle out of it, too!), always with Riley nearby for pets and attention.

Lake Pajamas are a new-to-me brand but they’ve quickly risen to the very top of my favorite cozy pieces (read my review of their flannel pajamas and robe here). They just launched their Valentine’s Shop with plenty of adorable options in prints like hearts, kisses, and more. My Weekend Set is part of their Valentine’s Shop so whether you are treating yourself and looking for a thoughtful Galentine’s Day gift for a friend, you can find it in their shop.

Lake Pajamas Weekend Set Review

Lake very kindly gifted me this Weekend Set and I chose the Pink Heart pattern immediately. I fall between sizes at Lake so to be on the safe side, I went with a size large for this set. Besides, when it comes to loungewear, you can’t go wrong with oversized!

The set consists of a long-sleeve crewneck top and shorts with an elastic waistband and is made of 100% Pima Cotton. The Pima Cotton is like the Goldilocks of fabrics – it doesn’t make you feel too hot, it doesn’t make you feel too chilly, it’s just right. It’s wonderful to lounge in during the winter and I know I will still reach for the set when DC’s notorious summer humidity hits.

Lake Pajamas does warn that Pima cotton will shrink upon first washing, mostly in length. They advise that you care for your garment by machine washing with like colors in cold water to prevent fading and to use a mild soap on delicate cycle. Lake recommends never use chlorine bleach or Oxyclean and to lay flat to dry.
