Sharing a Kendra Scott Lobe Wonder review + if they help out with heavier earrings.

I love a good statement earring more than any other type of jewelry. Usually, I rotate between a couple of necklaces for work + only really wear bracelets on the weekend (typing with bracelets is annoying to me). So statement earrings are where I can add some personality + flair to my 9-5 wardrobe, especially since I currently work in a job that requires my outfits to be more on the traditional, conservative side.
After looking at these birdcage earrings from Tuckernuck for a year, I decided to add them to my statement earring collection. They reminded me of another favorite pair of earrings from Tuckernuck – the raffia lantern earrings. The raffia lantern earrings are incredibly lightweight so I was surprised when I put on the birdcage earrings for the first time + noticed that the weight of the earrings made my lobes sag a little bit. I’ve never had this issue with earrings before then!
I’d heard of Kendra Scott Lobe Wonder + decided to give them a whirl to see if they solved this issue. I mean, I had wanted these earrings for so long, I wasn’t about to give up on them! Plus the Lobe Wonder was low risk since they cost only $10 for 60 patches.
How Do Lobe Wonder Patches Work?
Before you put on your earring, you peel off a patch and place it behind your ear, making sure it covers your piercing. Once it’s in place, put on your earring + the backing like you normally do. The patch will be between your ear and the backing.
I did a little test to see if it worked and put on one birdcage earring with the Lobe Wonder and one without. You can see the difference it makes in the pictures below.

And that’s how I became a true believer in the Lobe Wonder. Before I reach for my birdcage earrings, I reach for my Lobe Wonder every time! It takes the strain from the earrings’ weight off your ears +, in my opinion, I think they make the earring sit more nicely in place. I had never had an issue before with heavier earrings but now I’ve got the solution!
