It’s *checks calendar* November 6th so by now I’m sure your Instagram feed looks a lot like mine – holiday decorations are up, Mariah Carey has emerged from hibernation to belt out her iconic hit, holiday tablescape inspiration, the whole nine tartan plaid ribbon yards.
Contrary to what you may think of this post’s title, I’m someone who wants Thanksgiving to have their due and their time in the spotlight. It’s one of my favorite holidays and I don’t think we should trot over the turkey in our mad dash to run run Rudolph to Christmas. I’m not a Scrooge and once Thanksgiving is officially over, I’m enthusiastically hauling out the holly and my music soundtrack shifts into holiday mode.
