On any given fall weekend, you will see me in either this exact outfit or a replica of it. I reach for my pencil skirts and dresses Monday through Friday but my Minnie pants come out to play on Saturday and Sunday errand trips. They are the weekend equivalent of a pencil skirt: they give you a sleek silhouette and can be easily tossed on. Layer up with a chambray or button down and my favorite L.L. Bean riding jacket. Throw on some pearls and create a bracelet stack, slip into a comfortable pair of shoes and you are out the door in a snap.
