I haven’t been to a mall since probably Christmas when I was picking up last-minute gifts…until this weekend. With the Robin Sparkles’ “Let’s Go to the Mall” in my head, I visited Potomac Mills Mall in Woodbridge, VA to check out the shops and pick up some accessories to style this LOFT chambray shirt. Side note: LOFT’s chambray shirt is the softest chambray EVER. I kinda want to wear it to sleep. But I won’t.

In full disclosure, Potomac Mills invited me to participate in their “Work the Shirt” campaign and asked me to accessorize this chambray shirt. Challenge accepted, Potomac Mills! I’m styling the shirt for a casual weekend look today but visit back on Wednesday to see how I styled it for 9-5 life.

I’d never been to Potomac Mills Mall before and I have to say, I was a happy camper. They had a great variety of stores and outlets, where I found some seriously awesome deals on the accessories in these looks.

With chambray as a neutral, I wanted to go for bright, colorful accessories to balance out DC’s gray weather lately. I spotted the pineapple print infinity scarf at Talbots Outlet and it was 😍. It’s unreal how soft and lightweight this scarf is, definitely going to get a lot of wear this summer from sundresses to white jeans.

But my FAVORITE accessory from this trip to Potomac Mills Mall has to be the Vera Bradley crossbody. It was a STEAL. $31. Yup, it doesn’t get better than that. I’ve got a saver’s high still going from this weekend.

You know there will be a ton of sales ‘n deals going on Memorial Day weekend so plan a girls’ trip to check out the outlets at Potomac Mills Mall. Happy wallet, happy closet 👌
