Trader Joe’s is the secret spot for the best margarita mixers. If you love a kick of heat in your cocktails, then you will love my Trader Joe’s spicy mango lemonade margarita!
If you’re looking for the perfect warm-weather cocktail, this Trader Joe’s spicy mango lemonade margarita is a must-try. This margarita is sweet, tangy, and has just the right amount of kick. It also might be the easiest drink to whip up!
For years, Trader Joe’s Jalapeño Limeade has been my go-to for making margaritas at home. It’s a seasonal warm weather item for Trader Joe’s so I’d stock up to enjoy this spicy cocktail all year – or at least as long as my stock lasted. I didn’t think it would get better than that. Then Trader Joe’s introduced their Spicy Mango Lemonade.

Why You’ll Love This Spicy Mango Lemonade Margarita
You can find Trader Joe’s Spicy Mango Lemonade in the refrigerated section next to other bottled juices and drinks for $2.49. It’s a fairly large bottle, enough to make at least 5-6 margaritas. If you’re having friends over, the mango lemonade covers your bases for both a margarita and a mocktail.
Sidenote: While you’re at Trader Joe’s, go to their seasoning section & toss their Chile-Lime seasoning blend into your cart. It’s great for rimming your margarita glasses!
The spicy mango lemonade is delicious on its own as a mocktail, I’d just add a splash of seltzer and fresh lime juice to make it feel special.
I love making this margarita because it’s a fantastic balance of sweet from the mango, tart from the lemonade, and then the perfect amount of heat. It’s also super quick to concoct and you could even make it as a batch cocktail in a pitcher for parties.
Let’s grab some limes, TJ’s mango lemonade, tequila, and ice and let’s make a spicy mango lemonade margarita!

Trader Joe’s Spicy Mango Lemonade
Quick Note: Salt for the rim of your glass. I’m a big fan of using Trader Joe’s Chile-Lime seasoning blend for my margaritas.
Instructions
Step 1: Combine your ingredients
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, the juice of one lime, 1 shot of tequila, and Trader Joe’s Spicy Mango Lemonade. I typically count to 4 when I’m pouring in the lemonade.
Step 2: Shake and strain
Shake, shake, shake and then strain into the glass. Add ice if you’d like.
Tips for Serving and Garnishing
If you want a salt rim, prep that before you pour your cocktail. Rub the lime around the rim and put the salt on a small plate. Turn the glass upside down and rotate to cover.
Fun garnishes for this spicy mango lemonade margarita would be jalapeño slices, chunks of mango, or Trader Joe’s Chile Spiced Pineapple (found alongside their freeze dried fruit next to the nuts). I typically toss the squeezed lime into my drink to optimize the tangy lime flavor.
