{Thirsty Thursday: Raspberry Chocolate Kiss}

Happy Valentine’s Day, lovebugs!! I love Valentine’s Day, it’s an excellent excuse to dress up all in pink and red and we know tomorrow candy will be on super sale. What’s not to love?

Maybe you are like me and have to work tonight but fear not, you can still participate in all the fun by assembling a Valentine’s Day-inspired ensemble! I subscribe to the “If you look great, you’ll do great” philosophy so shake off the “Is it Friday yet?” slump by brightening up your work outfit.

Perhaps you are spending tonight with your Valentine, making dinner at home or watching Audrey Hepburn movies with the girls. Either way, the Raspberry Chocolate Kiss Martini is easy to make and adds just the right note of festivity!

Ingredients

1/4 cup simple syrup

3 chocolate cookies, finely crushed

10 raspberries

1/4 cup vodka

2 tablespoons cranberry juice

ice cubes

Directions

Dip the martini glass in the simple syrup and then coat the rim with crushed cookies.

Place raspberries in a cocktail shaker and muddle.

Add simple syrup and continue to muddle.

Add vodka and cranberry juice, fill shaker with ice.

Shake well until chilled and strain into martini glass.
