In exactly a week from today, I’ll be in sunny Phoenix, Arizona! March is seriously West Coast Travel Month and considering DC weather yesterday predicted snow on Sunday, the desert cannot come soon enough. I know March is “in like a lion, out like a lamb” but seriously?! Where is the unsubscribe button?!
Between Utah last week and Arizona the next, this is the farthest I’ve gotten out of DC since Christmas. I love DC and all but sometimes you just need a change of scenery, you know? To distract myself from the gray ‘n gloomy weather this week, I’ve been making a list of outfits to pack for my trip to Arizona and getting more and more excited with each minute. No joke. Fair warning: I’ll be talking about my vacation from here until next Tuesday.
I’ve been warned against overpacking so I’ll be taking my Vera Bradley duffel bag, which I swear is like Mary Poppins’ bag because it miraculously holds everything I could possibly want. Just when I thought it couldn’t possibly zip, it goes and zips. How?! Since my space is limited, I’ve started making a list of everything I could need ( just realized I forgot my swimsuit😳) and spoiler alert: It involves a lot of mix ‘n match pieces, especially with these J.Crew Factory boardwalk pull-on shorts.
