On a cold, rainy day there is nothing better than layering up. While typically I think of a gingham button down with a cable knit sweater as rainy day layering, I wanted to rework a favorite dress for a drizzly day look.
Because my pink wellies are used to the spotlight, I stuck with a neutral underneath my dress. The light chambray offsets the darker print and the rolled sleeves and a tousled collar provide just the right touch of whimsy to brighten things up.
