DC Girl in Pearls | Weekend Reading

(Clockwise) 1 // 2 // 3 // 4

As far back as I can remember, I have always loved books. I would keep my closet light on long after I had outgrown my fear of the dark just to keep reading after my bedtime. My biggest arguments with my parents growing up were that I would stay up well past midnight in middle school…because I just had to find out the ending. I distinctively remember going on vacation with my dad’s friends’ families in 5th grade and the other girl my age told me to forget any chances I had with a guy because she had dibs. I told her “Okay” and went back to reading. Get the picture?

Lately though, I haven’t really been reading and that’s mostly because I’ve forgotten to make time for it. Like going to the gym, reading time should be scheduled into your routine. I’m working on getting back into the swing and hopefully the books will jumpstart my habit.

How do you find time to read? Have you read (or want to read) these books? Please share!

P.S. I finished The Fault In Our Stars this week and am currently starting The Confession of Katherine Howard.
