But I spent the weekend being wonderfully distracted dog-sitting a sweet little corgi named Nigel, he is just the cutest!! I had a blast playing fetch + snuggling with him on the couch. I miss him already!
My No-Makeup Summer Makeup
When it’s sweltering hot out, the last thing I want to do is put on a face full of makeup. But I need coverage on my face. Nothing crazy, just to add moisture and even out my skin tone. And most importantly, to have SPF coverage on my face before I head out the door. Here are my two steps (not including applying another moisturizer first because #dryskinproblems) to get that dewy, no-makeup summer makeup look!

I LOVE my Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer (I used Shade No. 2 for reference). Unless I’m battling a breakout and need extra coverage, I reach for this tinted moisturizer every morning. It’s lightweight, has SPF 20, and gives your skin a dewy glow. It’s the best! I apply with my trusty Beautyblender.
IT Cosmetics CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder
I know I’ve bragged about this before (sarcasm alert, in case you’re new around here 😉) but I have combination skin and in summertime, my complexion can get real oily real fast. To help combat the unwanted shine factor, I apply a light sweep of IT Cosmetics CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder in Fair across my forehead + cheeks. For the powder, I use my IT Cosmetics Heavenly Skin brush, it’s such an amazing makeup brush and it’s $48 – which is a great price for such a quality brush.
