Happy Monday!! I am (finally) moving this week and I am beyond thrilled to get all of my furniture, belongings and wardrobe into my big girl place. My parents and brother are driving down as you read this to help me move from my old apartment to my new apartment. I’m downright giddy about my new apartment and am toying with the idea of naming it. Does anyone else do this?? Please tell me there is someone else who does this!!
In between packing up my kitchen and cleaning yesterday, I decided to take a little break and play around on my phone. I searched “Monogram” on the App Store and scrolled past the apps to create a monogram wallpaper, etc and stumbled upon this little gem:

Taking the guesswork out of monograms, gotta love technology! There seriously is an app for everything 🙂
And yes, I have a folder on my phone with all the social media platforms for my blog, I like keeping it all nice and organized.

Oh honey yes!! You name that new apartment! We once lived in a home next to Belle View Country Club (outside of Old Town Alexandria) and I named it Serenity Cottage. Even my mail came addressed to me at ‘Serenity Cottage’. When we moved the new owners kept the name. Now I live close to George Washington’s Mount Vernon and am trying to figure out a name for this house….Hmmm….
I’ve named all of my apartments over the years, I even named my dorm rooms. I totally think you should name your apartment, it gives it personality.
