How Do Mocktail Club Drinks Taste? Mocktail Club Review

After seeing the Instagram ads, I had to find out – how do Mocktail Club drinks taste? Sharing my Mocktail Club review, honest opinions, and where to find them in DC.

Mocktail Club Review

I kept seeing ad after ad on Instagram for Mocktail Club – premium crafted natural non-alcoholic cocktails. Mocktail Club currently offers seven non-alcoholic beverages modeled after popular cocktails. I spied a few of their drinks when out at Wegmans in DC in the wine, beer, and liquor section and decided to give them a whirl.

Non-alcoholic drinks have been rising in popularity recently on social media. I do enjoy wine and cocktails on the weekend but try to really limit enjoying those drinks during the work. I wanted to see if Mocktail Club drinks could be a fun, special drink to enjoy, especially when you don’t want to worry about the lingering effects of alcohol.

Mocktail Club says their beverages are best serve chilled and are great as is or on the rocks with a splash of soda. Since this was my first time trying their drinks, I opted to enjoy them chilled and as is.

Mocktail Club Review

Mocktail Club Havana Twist

Havana Twist:

The Havana Twist is billed as their take on the classic mojito. I love a good, fresh mojito, especially once the warmer weather arrives. The Havana Twist is made with organic lime juice and agave, contains prebiotics from organic apple cider vinegar, and caffeine-free. It’s also gluten-free and vegan. With notes of lime, cardamom, cucumber, and mint shrub, the Havana Twist certainly hits the spot if you are looking for a non-alcoholic alternative to the mojito. I really enjoyed its lightly sparkling effervescence and the cardamom addition made this mocktail spicy – not in terms of heat but in flavor profile. Mocktail Club says it is great as is or on the rocks with a splash of soda. I enjoyed it as is but I think if you would like more carbonation in your drinks, adding this to a lime seltzer would be refreshing on a hot summer evening.

Mocktail Club Capri Spritz

Capri Spritz:

The Capri Spritz is Mocktail Club’s take on an Italian spritz. It’s made with organic pomegranate juice, cranberry shrub, lemongrass, and includes caffeine-free tea. The Capri Spritz also contains prebiotics from apple cider vinegar, superfruit with antioxidants, and is caffeine-free. I would describe the Capri Spritz as more on the tart side. And I think this one would be best paired with a seltzer. Like the Havana Twist, the Capri Spritz is also lightly sparkling.

Where To Find Mocktail Club in DC:

I picked mine up at Wegmans on Wisconsin Avenue for $4 each. You can also spot Mocktail Club on the shelves in Whole Foods and MOM’s Organic Markets throughout the city along with other smaller shops like Wagshals.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see Mocktail Club cocktails are offered in restaurants in DC, including Joselito and Millie’s.

Would I Buy These Again?

Yes, absolutely. I think the flavors are really unique and these beverages are a fun alternative when you don’t want to imbibe but want to have a drink that feels special.
