Sharing 3 of my favorite pieces to shop during a Lilly Pulitzer sale!
Surprise! Lilly Pulitzer announced that today is their Splash of Sunshine Sale – a one-day-only, online version of the Sunshine Sale. You can hop into their online queue starting at 8am Eastern time, that’s where I’ll be. Just like you, I’m not sure what’s going to be in their Splash of Sunshine Sale. But here are 3 of my go-to pieces to shop when Lilly puts them on sale.
Margot Swing Dress: I’m wearing my Margot Swing Dress in the picture above, it’s a staple for me during DC’s humid summers. I love how it’s light and breezy with a fun tassel tie detail in the back. It does run roomy so I would recommend sizing down. In Lilly, I’m usually a size medium and 8-10 but with this style, I wear a small. Pro Tip: I would cut off the tag on this dress because it drove me crazy how it kept peeking out.
Elsa Top: The Elsa Silk Top is a Lilly classic and for good reason. It’s universally flattering and elevates a pair of white jeans in a snap. Like the Margot, the Elsa also runs on the larger side. I would recommend going one size down unless you have broad shoulders or a bigger chest.
Palazzo Pants: Last but certainly not least, the Palazzo Pants! Think of these breezy, billowy pants as PJs you can wear in public and feel put-together. I love packing them on warm weather vacations, they’re great with a white button down knotted at the waist for a dinner or as a poolside cover-up. They have an elastic waist so I would go with your regular size. If you’re on the short side as well, you’ll likely have to get them hemmed like I did.
