Well, that was some start to spring? I have to say, the snow flurries made me even more ready to get to Arizona and their upper 70s weather. I have big plans to sit outside and read. Wild times, I know. I’m also really excited to break out the shorts and wear dresses without tights!! And my Jacks!! It feels like it’s been for-ev-er. I replaced my gold pair that literally fell apart after years of hard wear ‘n tear and lots of long walks around DC. They arrive on Thursday and I.cannot.wait.
In a perfect world, when I get back to DC from my trip, DC will have gotten it together and be spring-y and warm and wonderful. A gal can dream, right?
On Sunday, I took advantage of the bright sunshine and spent most of the day outdoors walking around the Mall and visiting the Smithsonian gardens. It seemed like everyone else had the same idea because the gardens were packed! Which made taking outfit photos quite a challenge haha.
I’ve been trying to highlight my favorite DC spots over on my Instagram Story, so I was really excited to share Momiji with you all! Momiji is located in Chinatown and is one of the best spots for sushi. It’s a good thing I don’t live nearby or else I’d drain my bank account with sushi. And their sushi pizza!! I know it sounds weird but trust me and order it. It’s life-changing and I don’t say that lightly. The last few visits, I ordered their Valentine roll so I guess you could say we’re getting pretty serious ha.
