Mexican restaurants have always been a favorite of mine. If it wasn’t for my waistline, I would gladly indulge in chips, salsa and guacamole every single day. You think I’m exaggerating. I’m completely serious.
I remember when I was about 8 and with my mother at our favorite local cantina. I distinctly recall her telling me that when I’m old enough to order a margarita, I will love Mexican restaurants that much more. Lo and behold, she was right! I’ve tried and dabbled with various flavors but my go-to is a swirl (strawberry + lime). I do love the unique seasonal flavors but, of course, you cannot do wrong with the original!
