With Independence Day right around the corner, I have stars & stripes on the brain. The Fourth of July was always a holiday that stood out in my mind growing up. I love everything about it: the parades, the BBQ and, most importantly, the fireworks!
If you’re planning a Fourth of July soiree, try some of these cocktails. In order to really be the hostess with the mostest, concoct these beverages {it’s easy, just combine ingredients} prior to the party in mason jars with lids and keep in a tub over ice. It’s Americana to fit into the party theme and your guests can serve themselves, freeing you up to mingle & enjoy the holiday.
{Yankee Doodle}
1 part blue raspberry flavored vodka
2 parts sour
1 part tonic
{Stars and Stripes Forever}
1 oz blue raspberry flavored vodka
1 oz sour
Fill with lemonade
Garnish with maraschino cherries
{The Patriot}
1 oz red cherry flavored vodka
Fill with 7-up
Garnish with orange slices
