Camarena Rosemary Lemonade. The name alone makes you think of being on a tropical island with a soft breeze, no? Refreshing and beachy, if you are longing for an oasis without finding your passport, this cocktail is the ticket.
Cocktail Ingredients
1 1/2 oz Camarena Reposado Tequila
4 oz organic lemonade
3 to 4 rosemary infused ice cubes
rosemary sprig and lemon slice for garnish
Ice Cube Ingredients
3 cups water
6 sprigs of rosemary
Ice Cube Directions
Pinch 12-15 tips of rosemary from sprig and set aside.
Bring water to simmer.
Add sprigs to heated water.
Let simmer for 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.
Strain into container and let cool.
Once cooled, poor into ice cube tray.
Add tips to individual ice cubes and place in freezer.
Directions
Place rosemary infused ice cubes into highball glass.
Ad tequila and top with lemonade.
Stir.
Garnish with rosemary and lemon.
The lively color of this cocktail reminded me a wonderful Lilly top that would be first in my suitcase if I were off to a tropical island!
I would pair the Hilly top with white jeans and either McKims or Jacks for my tropical getaway.
