Last Easter, I served mimosas with a twist: a splash or two of blood orange soda. It was delicious and brought a fizzy pizzazz to the traditional orange juice & champagne. Since then, I’ve been planning other ways to introduce blood orange flavors into my dishes. I’m starting with a simple cocktail you can easily make either after a long day at work or at your next Sunday brunch with the girls. This drink takes all of 3 seconds to take, its low maintenance creation lends itself wonderfully to parties when you are hopping around the room making certain everything’s in place. Create a blood orange prosecco bar with various garnishes and juices for your guests to add to make their cocktail truly a one-of-a-kind.
