Post-wedding, James and I have settled into a pretty great weekend morning routine. James and I will grab our morning caffeines of choice (coffee for him, chai for me) and stroll around the neighborhood with our strong-willed foxhound beagle mix leading the way. Riley lives for her sniff-fueled walks, she especially loves to stroll through Eastern Market and somehow knows when it’s Saturday because she always steers us in the farmer’s market direction.
DC’s summer humidity had me reaching for workout tops and bike shorts for these morning walks. Now that we’re in that sweet spot for fall, Summersalt’s Softest French Terry Pullover and Softest French Terry Jogger are the MVPs.

Summersalt The Softest French Terry Jogger Review
I’ve worn one other pair of joggers from another company that I enjoy. But primarily I’m a workout leggings gal when it comes to the weekend. Summersalt’s joggers have totally converted me.
“The Softest French Terry” isn’t just a catchy name – it is the absolute truth. I felt like I melted when I put on the jogger, they were that cozy and felt luxurious. That feeling hasn’t gone away. Plus I am a huge fan that the jogger has a more tailored silhouette to them, meaning I don’t feel like I’m wearing frumpy sweatpants. This has been especially helpful when we go right from walking Riley to heading to run errands. I feel comfortable and presentable each time I wear this matching set.
This matching set would be perfect as a present, especially as we’re about to head into holiday travel season.
I’ve washed both the jogger and pullover and they’ve held up wonderfully in the washer (cold setting) and dryer (delicates). Both the pullover and jogger come in a variety of colors and prints and run true to size, I’m wearing a medium in both. I do really appreciate how size inclusive Summersalt is, both of these styles go from size XS to 2X.
