Summer in Outfits

With Labor Day weekend coming up, my deep denial that summer is almost over is getting harder and harder to maintain. But I’m trying to keep this charade going as long as possible so I thought I’d do a roundup of my favorite outfits from this summer to ease into autumn. I’ll be transitioning to fall and fall-ish outfits after LDW since DC’s heat + humidity doesn’t always get the memo that it’s officially fall right away.

I’m really excited to tell you that I’m in the final stages of a blog redesign, including a brand new logo and it is literally taking all of my willpower not to share it with you right now!!! I feel like my blog took a bit of a summer vacation but I’m ready to get back to ~~school~~ regular posts and the blog’s new look will definitely reflect my vision for DC Girl. I can’t wait for you to see it!!

In the mean time, I’m having one last summer hurrah and flying to Chicago on Friday to see one of my best friends get married!! Good friends, lots of pizza and champagne, and love. No better way to send Summer 2016 off in style ; )
