summer hair

My hair is poker straight. I could let it air dry and it would go from soaking wet to perfectly straight in 90 minutes. Sounds ideal? Hardly.

If I want to curl my hair, I need about 12 hours advanced notice to get enough mousse into my hair to hold a curl. My hair also takes a beating from DC water. I notice my hair always looks much better when I’m home in New York and I attribute that to water quality. In DC during the winter, my hair has the tendency to become dry and I’ll get extremely annoying flyaways near my part.

I used Organix Moroccan Oil for over a year and while I was happy with the results, sometimes it just did not hold up. At all. I needed to re-stock my Oil but decided to do a little browsing first…

CoconutAfter washing my hair, I would towel dry, spritz this Coconut Hydrating Oil Mist onto my wet hair and use a wide tooth comb to work it through. Let it sit for about 5 minutes and blow dry.

Only 2 uses into this mist and I could already feel the difference in my hair. You know the feeling when you go to the salon to get your hair trimmed and it instantly feels lighter, healthier, shinier? Yup, that’s how I felt using this product. I constantly had to remind myself to not play with my hair at work!

I’ve used products that cost double (this bottle rang up to $8.99) and I never saw results like this with higher end labels. I would definitely recommend you try out the Coconut Hydrating Oil Mist if you need a boost to your ‘do!

Say hello!

I use products from the Coconut range too (I have a regular oil – not a spray!) and I love it! It seems to hold up as well as some of my more expensive hair products.

Thanks for the tip. Definitely adding the mist to my shopping list.

I use the shampoos by that brand, and have the coconut milk serum. My hair is a little wavy, and the serum seems to straighten it for some reason! It smells great though!
