Sharing my favorite spring J.Crew Factory finds – and they’re all under $100!
Hi everyone! While I was working on my social distancing like so many of you, I wrote out some long-overdue posts for the blog for the next few weeks. And remember to join me over on Instagram, Mondays are #CookWithLauren and I’ll be sharing a yummy + simple dinner you can make at home 😊
P.S. You can get an extra 20% off J.Crew Factory right now with code “LUCKYDEAL”
Hot Pink Linen-Cotton Blazer: Since my work office dress code is conservative, I love filling my work wardrobe with as many bright colors as possible!! A hot pink linen blazer will get serious mileage for me, especially once DC humidity kicks into gear 😅
Stripe Knot Headband: I was hesitant about the headband trend but now I am all in!! My collection has grown extensively but I think there’s definitely room for this stripe knot headband, don’t you think?
Pearl Drop Earrings: If there are pearl earrings as an option, you better believe they’re on my list. I love the detailing on these, it gives them a more dressed up look than just simple studs.
Packable Straw Hat: I’m a sucker for a good sun hat. And as I get older and more cognizant of the sun’s negative effect on my skin (not just for vanity reasons, I have a family history of skin cancer on both sides), I find myself reaching for a hat when I’m going to be outside for long periods of time.
D-frame Sunglasses: When I’m not wearing my beloved aviators, I reach for a very similar pair of J.Crew tortoiseshell sunglasses. Except if you buy these you’ll be smarter than me because I paid OG J.Crew full-price for mine! These sunglasses are only $14.50!!
Tortoiseshell Slingbacks: In college, I had a pair of J.Crew tortoiseshell flats that I wore for years until they were on their very last leg. They were such an easy shoe to slip on and make my outfit (especially when I was going to my internships!). I mourned these shoes for a long time. So I was especially excited to see these tortoiseshell slingbacks! It’s the same pattern in a different style so you better believe I’m going to scoop up a pair!
Jamie Pants: I’m loving the look of these pants for spring workwear! Their elastic waistband is very forgiving and can easily be dressed up or down for work. Of course, the navy pair is always a good choice for the office but I’m also loving the pastel purple pair.
Gingham Pants: Winnie pants have been my favorites for years. They’re dressier than leggings but just as comfortable! I recommend sizing down from your usual size since they have a lot of stretch to them.
Pink Pleated Midi Skirt: How pretty is this pink pleated midi skirt to wear to a baby or wedding shower? I’d love to pair it with espadrille wedges and a white button down!
Cap Sleeve Dress: This cap sleeve dress is just about the easiest dress to throw on for work on Mondays! Or Fridays when you’re just so ready for the weekend. I love that it comes in several colors, leaning towards the navy and fuchsia and is under $50.
Leopard Pointy-Toe Flats: Leopard is a neutral. And you can’t go wrong with pointy-toe flats, they do wonders for elongating your legs!
Stripe Short Sleeve Sweater: A classic piece to have in your wardrobe, no matter what season. I love the button detailing on the shoulder, too!
Field Jacket: While I’m so so so ready for weather where you can run out the door without a jacket, if I have to wear a jacket right now it’d be this field jacket. The khaki color makes it work with virtually every outfit you can have and the gold buttons make it look polished.
Hot Pink Linen Pants: I’m not one for pantsuits at all (to clarify, this is on me – I love when women rock a pantsuit ensemble!)…but the hot pink hue is kinda making me re-think my no-pantsuit policy. Stranger things have happened. But I think these pants on their own are so versatile! Perfect for a button down for the office or to wear with a cute tee for the weekend with sneakers.
Scalloped Mac Jacket: If it has to rain, we can at least look cute, right? The scallop detailing on this rain jacket is just too adorable for words. And I love the pastel purple hue!! Get in my shopping cart now!
