Last week was all around a fantastic week. How could it not be? On Monday, as I made my way through my building’s lobby to pick up a free Dunkin’ Donut, my Pandora started the work week with Barbra Streisand’s “Don’t Rain On My Parade.” With that kind of sign, it was sure to be a dynamite week. And it was. Bonus: it inspired the name for {this post}.
It’s always the little things that make the biggest impact. Here are my “little things” for the week:
With basil & red pepper flakes, this was a wonderful lunch to bring to work

Washingtonian highlighted the best 50 brunch places in DC, adding to my list of “Places to Brunch”
