When your week looks like this, sometimes you reach for your favorite mug and mentally add soup to your dinner menu.
Rainy mornings are absolutely delightful…when they fall on a Saturday or Sunday. During the week? Not so much. Those are typically the mornings I burrow under the blankets until my snooze button’s tolerance reaches a breaking point. Not even my beloved morning ritual of sipping chai and watching Morning Joe can get me out of bed on those mornings.
But with this color combination? Now we’re talking…
Anorak | Earrings | Mani | Monogram | Bow | Umbrella | Wellies
I love {coral} {alot} and have been looking for ways to bring this lovely hue into my wardrobe. Coral is the perfect spring shade because it’s light, feminine yet gives the tried and true hues like navy a new lease on life! You’ll be singing in the rain in no time.
The anorak and umbrella are both from Target and a real save on your wallet. The Bauble Bar coral earrings are $24 so just skip Starbucks for a week and you’ll be able to add this pop of color to your jewelry box. I found the gold pieces in this stack at {Tuckernuck}. While they are a bit of a splurge, you can also find reasonably priced gold jewelry on {Bauble Bar} and {Etsy}.
The real splurge is, of course, the {Hunter wellies}. Although, I would argue they are not so much a splurge as an investment piece. My hot pink wellies are close to 3 years old and still going as strong as ever. They have triumphed against DC downpours and New York snowbanks alike. If you live in a rainy, snowy area, I would highly suggest you save up and make this purchase. My wellies are worth every penny.
