pearls & prose: the tao of martha

It should come as no surprise that I’m a Team Martha kinda gal. I admire her entrepreneurial talents not to mention her solution for any household fix and her penchant for inspiring delicious recipes out of the most basic ingredients. I could easily gush about her for an entire post without pausing to take a breathe. Not even once.

To put it mildly, in my senior year of high school I was voted most likely to become the next Martha Stewart. And I went to an all girls’ school. Take from that what you will. Tao of MarthaFrom decluttering every day spaces to planning perfectly detailed soirees, Jen takes us along for the ride as she spends a year seeking The Tao of Martha. Jen uncovers pearls of wisdom from Martha from each success (and sometimes failure) in her project while providing enough sass and snark to keep you giggling in the airport terminal. True story.

Even if you’re a Martha Stewart naysayer (or even worse, Team Sandra Lee *shudder*), I think The Tao of Martha is an excellent book for traveling or at the beach as you soak up the last summer rays.

Bonus: it’s inspiring a myriad of blog posts so watch out!
