As a wise philosopher once exasperatedly said, “All day long I felt like white open-toed shoes after Labor Day.”
Okay, so it wasn’t a philosopher, it was Elle Woods. However, she does still have a point. While style trends now assert that when it comes to white, “If you know the rules, you can break the rules.” I have become more comfortable with mixing and matching prints and colors but I draw the line at white, open-toed shoes. White jeans, fine. White shoes? No way!
Memorial Day is the unofficial start to summer and the beginning of open-toed season.
Heels | Wedges | Flats | Sandals
These heels will be perfect for a summer wedding or special occasion. Wedges, to me, say brunch with your gal pals this Sunday when paired with colored jeans, cuffs rolled up. For your 9-5, the ballet flats with a pantone hued pencil skirt brighten up the work day.
Are you going out to a happy hour after work? Kick off those heels and slip into a pair of Jacks, you’re good to go.
Do you have a favorite pair of white shoes?
