2012 was quite a year for me. I graduated from American University with my degree in Public Relations, I moved into a studio in Glover Park and embarked on my search for a big girl job.
2012 was also the year I fell in love with blogging. I began DC Girl in Pearls as a creative outlet and it grew to become much more than I originally dreamed. Although sometimes life gets fairly hectic for my blog, I would not give it up for the world.
As 2012 came to an end, I reflected back on my year and DC Girl in Pearls. I truly cherish all my readers and their comments, tweets and emails. You are all so sweet!! I realized I wanted to truly give myself into my blog. So, I have decided to include more personal posts and insights into my life. To start, I am updating my {About Me} page:
