{Monogram Monday: Easter Egg Edition & A Serious Note}

Happy Monday, everyone!! I hope everyone had a terrific weekend, especially for those who went to Carolina Cup! I spent Saturday at a social media conference (yes, I’m that cool) and had a super fun time speaking on their “Caught in the Blog” panel. Yesterday, I tweeted about taking a plunge this week. Since I’m about to enter “The Real World” and apply to big girl jobs, I’ve been hesitant to put my last name on this blog/Twitter. I’m planning to apply to jobs in political communication so I worried that prospective employers would view my blog as silly. However, after my day at the Social Learning Summit, I decided to take the plunge and attach my last name to this blog.

Just noticed it looks like someone took a nibble from the upper left corner of my name tag, hmmm.

And now back to your regularly scheduled {Monogram Monday}!

I’m really excited for Easter because as a child, it was a big family event every year and Easter memories are probably the most prominent ones I have from growing up. Sadly, I haven’t been able to celebrate Easter with my family since I started college because my academic calendar doesn’t line up with Easter and being able to fly to Florida. However, I still get an Easter basket mailed to me from my mother (you’re never too old for Easter baskets!) and go to Mass. My favorite family Easter tradition is dying eggs so why not dedicate {Monogram Monday} to the best monogrammed Easter eggs? Who wouldn’t want one in her Easter basket?

(Note: I know these are traditional monograms but I thought they were too cute to not show)

If you are feeling particularly crafty and want to make your own monogram Easter eggs, I’d recommend using the Wilton FoodWriter marker.
