Fair warning, guys. I’ve got a lot of holiday content ideas I’m excited to share with you so we’re going to have a few “two-a-days” in the next few weeks. There’s just too much to fit into one post, especially since we’re talking style, food, drink, holiday decor, and everything in between 🎄You can get a sneak peek of holiday content on DC Girl here 🍾
I had to highlight the Beautycounter sale that’s going on right now because it’s the LAST DAY of this sale!! You’ll get 15% off and free shipping on orders of $50 and up.
I’ve talked about my clean beauty journey with you but here’s a quick recap. After hearing my friends rave about Beautycounter, I decided to try out several of their products + do some research into clean beauty and what’s exactly going into our beauty products.
I love that Beautycounter products are high-quality and are 100% clean and don’t contain any harmful ingredients. I’m on a budget and I’m not going to buy a clean beauty product that doesn’t work, period.
Beautycounter has become my #1 clean beauty brand and their items rarely go on sale.
If you’re looking for beauty gifts for your family members, friends, or even yourself, you’re definitely going to want to take advantage of this sale!
Here Are My Favorite Beautycounter Products
Lip Conditioner: $19 sale price
The lip conditioner is my #1 favorite product from Beautycounter! It’s been a godsend since my lips dry out seemingly overnight when winter hits and I’m traveling in dry planes (aka holiday season). Beautycounter’s lip conditioner smells peppermint fresh, I keep it in my purse so I can apply it throughout the day. This lip balm comes packed with avocado oil, shea butter, and jojoba oil and will moisturize your lips in no time flat.
Charcoal Cleansing Bar: $21 sale price
The charcoal cleansing bar is a game changer for me, the queen of hoarding shower gels + body washes. It’s ideal for oily and blemish-prone skin and if you’re scent-sensitive, this cleansing bar is scent free.
Volumizing Mascara: $25 sale price
Beautycounter’s Volumizing Mascara goes on so smoothly + isn’t clumpy. Their brush definitely does the trick to create fuller-looking lashes. I use it every day I put on makeup.
Sheer Lipstick: $27 sale price
The sheer lipsticks are very moisturizing, which I really appreciate after having matte lipsticks dry my lips out after one wear. Unfortunately, the sheer lipstick didn’t last as long as matte but hey, you win some, you lose some.
Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion: $42 sale price
The Countermatch Adaptive Moisturize Lotion is very calming and soothing, I keep it near my cleanser on my bathroom sink as a daily reminder to apply it. My skin gets incredibly dry in certain spots during the winter and this lotion has helped give my skin the moisture it needs. There’s not really a scent or fragrance in the Countermatch Adaptive Moisturize Lotion. If you’re looking for a no-frills, gets-the-job-done moisturizer for dry skin (hello, me), this is your best buy.
Rejuvenating Day Cream: $62 sale price
The Rejuvenating Day Cream is the #1 product recommended by my friends and it’s no surprise why. It’s lightweight, non-greasy and smells vaguely citrus-y, which gives a great start to my day! In the morning, I apply the Rejuvenating Day Cream and let it absorb before putting on my CC cream to give my skin a dewier look.
Here’s What In My Cart
Glow + Go Mini Facial Oils: $25 sale price
I’m most excited about these mini facial oils and I can’t wait for it to arrive! They also would make a great gift for a friend or split them up to give to three friends.
No. 3 Balancing Facial Mask: $42 sale price
This balancing facial mask promises ten minutes to a more purified complexion. I’m really eager to try this out and see if it evens my facial tone out and helps with my rosacea. I’ll report back!
More Beautycounter Gift Ideas
Best of Beautycounter Set: $75 ($132 value!)
If you’re going to buy one thing from the sale, the Best of Beautycounter set should be it. This set includes their No. 1 Brightening Facial Oil, an Allure “Best of Beauty” Award winner, and their Balancing Facial Mask among other items. Plus it arrives in an elegant ivory box – the Best of Beautycounter would be a perfect gift for your mom or a friend who’s a new mom!
Instant Awakening Trio: $75 sale price ($134 value!)
This was a close second to the Best of Beautycounter set for the must-purchase. The Instant Awakening Trio is an arsensal to revive dull, tired skin. Which I can definitely relate to especially after all this travel. The Trio includes the Overnight Resurfacing Peel, which has received glowing reviews, the Instant Glow Illuminating Cream that gives your complexion a pearlescent finish, and under eye masks to reduce puffiness.
