Whew, I’m back in DC and back to the grind! After a week at home taking care of Tommy, I’m a) exhausted and b) incredibly impressed by stay-at-home parents. I still need to unpack and somehow managed to lose my keys inside my apartment within about 20 minutes of getting home. That has to be some kind of record.
FYI: They were underneath my scarf.
Looking at the calendar, my jaw just about hit the floor when I realized Christmas is in about 2 weeks and New Year’s is in 3. I’ve barely started planning the New Year’s resolutions I’m going to break. But, I promise I have my priorities in order…which means I’ve been mentally creating sequin-centric outfits since before Thanksgiving.
This is the sort of logic that causes me to overpack.
