My apologies, I’m a D.C. girl who couldn’t resist a pun involving “policy.” But now that I’ve got that out of my system…
To be completely honest, I’m not much of a tea drinker. Or coffee, for that matter. I might be the only college student who does not have a Starbucks gold card or DCist who doesn’t stumble, eyes half closed, to the coffee pot the second their alarm wakes them up and put in a black coffee IV drip.
First of all, in keeping with the theme of honesty, I did receive these teas from Honest Tea.
My favorite tea was definitely the zero calories Passionfruit Green Tea! Normally, I don’t enjoy green tea but I do love the taste of passionfruit so I put aside from trea biases and tried it. Remember how your mother urged you to eat your veggies and promised you would like them? Yup, this was just like that. I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet (but not too sweet) taste and it definitely quenched my thirst!
My other favorite Honest Tea product was the Honest Kids juice box. I may be 22 years old and on the verge of “The Real World,” but I am definitely in touch with my inner child and really just cannot resist a juice box. I really liked the Honest Kids juice boxes in the Tropical Tango Punch and Berry Berry Lemonade! In the morning, I toss my Tervis into my tote but this is definitely a great addition to my bag. At only 40 calories, the Honest Kids won’t tip your scale for those of us watching their figure! They’re small enough to fit in your tote and let’s be honest, who couldn’t use an afternoon pick me up at work?

I’ve had the Honest Tea before, but I don’t remember what I thought of them. Maybe that speaks for itself…lol….I would definitely try them out again though to refresh my memory. The juice boxes look like something my daughter would enjoy.
I’ve also tried Honest Tea before & didn’t like it but these drinks definitely changed my mind!
