Monogram Monday: Fotostrap Camera Straps

Last week, I got a new toy: a Nikon D3200 (great deals here + here). On Saturday morning, I set off to Eastern Market as per my usual weekend routine but this time with my Nikon carefully placed in my tote. I took some awesome shots (one of which I’m kinda obsessed with and cannot stop staring at) and suffice it to say, I am hooked. I actually had separation anxiety from my camera when I ran errands on Sunday…

Right now I’m at the “point, focus and shoot” stage of photography but I’m looking into tutorials on YouTube, Lynda.com and Skillshare. If you have any tips, I’d love to hear them! Please, show off your photography skillz because I’m dying to learn.

So back to my obsession, I found these adorable, colorful camera straps and lo and behold, they are monogram-able!!! Yes yes YES!

But wait, it gets even better! Fotostrap donates 10% of every purchase to their charity, Fotolanthrophy, which offers free photoshoots to inspiring people who overcame adversity. And Fotostrap is proudly made in the USA!

Okay, enough chattering from me and more oohing and aahing over these colors! Which is your favorite?

I have the Hibiscus (bright pink) camera strap and LOVE mine! I always get so many compliments and I love that it’s different than the basic black so I always know which camera is mine! 🙂

I’m leaning towards the Blush but I love Hibiscus, too! Plus it’ll make it easier to spot inside my tote bag. I’m obsessed with my camera, if you have any tips please share!
