I know, I know. Stripes for spring? Groundbreaking. But I’ve become a recent convert to Saint James striped shirts after snagging the tee pictured above in Tuckernuck’s recent sample sale. And I wanted to share the good word with you about Saint James striped tees along with a few of my other favorite stripe tees that have been closet staples of mine for years.
Saint James: I would suggest going with your true size for the Saint James stripe tee. I’m a size 8 and typically wear a medium in tops. That’s the size I went with for my Saint James and it’s the perfect relaxed fit. I do like that it tucks in well into pants in case I want a more fitted look.
J.Crew: You just really cannot go wrong with a boatneck neckline in my opinion. It’s a classic for a reason! I think this boatneck striped tee looks casually feminine and instantly makes you look pulled together.
Amazon: This is by far the most casual tee on the list. But, in my opinion, I love wearing this Amazon striped tee for days when I’m lounging around at home or just running errands. The terry interior is great for those in-between days we have right now when winter hasn’t quite left and spring hasn’t quite arrived. I bought this shirt during the start of the pandemic after Katie from Stripes and Whimsy recommended it. Highly recommend you give her a follow if you aren’t already!
