Last night, my roommate came back from a weekend at home and she brought some goodies back with her! Her mother works in publicity so my roommate snagged Essie’s fall colors collection. I’ve been using OPI for years so although I’ve been wanting to try Essie out I just didn’t really have an excuse: I certainly have enough nail polish colors to choose from in my collection. However, trying on Essie for free? Well, that’s a no brainer!
After some thought, I decided to try on Essie’s “Ladylike” color and I think it turned out really well! I’m usually a fan of just painting my nails pink or having a clear or neutral color on them so it took a little getting used to. But now I’m kind of hooked, to be honest with you.
Now that I’ve broken the cycle of only using about 3 colors of nail polish, I think I may have to take a trip to Target & select some new Essie nail polishes!

I LOVE essie! seriously. it’s awesome. Some of my favorite colors: tart deco, lapis of luxury, ballet slippers, turquoise & caicos, cute as a button, and buy me a cameo is absolute favvvv. I bet you’d love buy me a cameo if you love more neutrals/pinks. 🙂
I’m looking at Buy Me a Cameo and from the swatch it looks like it has a shinier aspect to it, which would really glam up an outfit! Oh my goodness, I spied Turquoise and Caicos at Ulta and loved it because it reminded me of a Tiffany blue. And who doesn’t get happy once they spy Tiffany blue? Thanks so much for your suggestions, I’m definitely going to snag a couple colors at Target later. Watch out for a blog post on other Essie colors!
