The Shirt

Not to sound hyperbolic or anything but…The Shirt by Rochelle Behrens is life-changing. I love wearing button-downs tucked into a pencil skirt for work and or jeans on the weekend (See above) but always hated worrying about whether that unfortunate gap was happening (We’ve all been there). Enter The Shirt. With extra buttons on the inside, the dreaded gap is no more.

I originally bought The Shirt in a gray stripe when it was on sale at Tuckernuck in Georgetown, and it quickly became a shirt I reached for all the time. The Shirt is typically $88 but usually goes on sale for Thanksgiving so unless you can’t live without it, I’d recommend holding off on purchasing it until then. But when you do, you may want to purchase more than one because I promise you will love it that much! I wear The Shirt in size medium and find that it’s true to size.

Easy Fall Weekend Look

When the weekend rolls around in fall, I’m reaching for my leggings. But after finding these jeans from Talbots, that’s changed. I’m normally not a big jeans-wearer, it’s a hold out from having to wear skirts and dresses at school until college. Talbots Girlfriend Jeans are the perfect blend of looser boyfriend jeans with a feminine, figure-flattering cut. I tried them on initially because they were on sale for a really good price and was really surprised how much I liked them on. I gushed about them a lot in this post from last year’s trip to Virginia wine country.
