Having survived three full summers in DC, I knew what I was getting myself into. I voluntarily chose to live in a swamp. The combination of the heat and humidity were in full force this week, causing me to get creative with breathable outfits for work.
Hands down, the simplest outfit to beat the heat centered around my pink gingham button down. My pink gingham was flowy and light enough to not trap in the heat and comfortable to last 9 to 6. Luckily, the weekend is here so I can break out the shorts and shorter skirts. I’ll still be sticking with my gingham though.
