Have you ever heard of Sweetest Day? My family’s celebrated for years and for even non-Valentine’s Day people, this is a mini-holiday you can get behind.
I mean, who doesn’t love receiving a sweet gift out of the blue?!
IZZE challenged me to create a fun Sweetest Day gift so let’s get gifting!
For my Sweetest Day gifts, I started with the hallmark of any good gift: a hilarious card. I spent a good 10 minutes in the card section of Paper Source giggling to myself over their selection. I swear I’m really cool…be my friend?
After a serious elimination process, I narrowed down my cards and got to work on the Sweetest Day gift.
To go for a different look (and because I am the absolute worst at wrapping gifts), I went with Chinese takeout boxes as gift bags! Don’t get me wrong, these aren’t the exact same boxes as my General Tso’s arrives in. Just to clear that up.
I picked mine up at Jo-Ann’s but how cute are these heart-decorated takeout boxes?!
Be still my Sweetest Day-lovin’ heart.
Take a bottle of IZZE Sparkling Water (sparkling water is having a major moment in the sun right now, it’s like the brussels sprouts of fizzy water world – bad analogy?) and place it in the takeout container and cushion it with decorative paper shreds, preferably in pink!
Funny card, check!
Sweet (pun intended) gift, double check!
