Now that the weather is *finally* feeling like spring, I’m so excited to ditch winter leggings + tights and break out my dresses. Sharing the best dresses for spring!
Spring has definitely arrived in DC + I am over the moon happy about it. With the warmer weather, I’ve been making a point of going on an hour-long walk each day just to get out of my apartment, move my body, and absorb some sunshine and fresh air. My walks have become a high point in my day and it’s put me in a better mood and mindset to take on the day ahead.
I’m waiting until it gets a bit warmer before I start pulling out all my spring/summer clothes and packing away my winter sweaters. But I wanted to share the best dresses for spring that I’ll be wearing all season long!
The Midi Dress
The midi dress is the perfect length when there’s still a little bit of a chill in the air. I also love layering my Dudley Stephens fleeces or sweaters over midi dresses and pairing them with sneakers for a more casual outfit.
The Shirt Dress
The Royal Shirt Dress (above) might be my #1 favorite purchase from Tuckernuck. I love wearing it on the weekends and with a blazer for an easy work look. The blazer gives it a more tailored, structured appearance. Back in the “Before Times,” this was my go-to Friday work outfit if I was planning to meet up with friends for drinks after work. The Royal Shirt Dress is on the roomy side so I’d recommend sizing down.
Here are a few more shirt dresses I’ve got my eye on for spring, especially the lilac stripe shirt dress that reminds me of wisteria season! It’s 25% off from $139 with code “SPRING.”
The Tiered Dress
There’s just something really fun and playful about tiered dresses! I think it must be their twirlability factor. Paired with a denim jacket for cooler spring days, the tiered dress is a happy dress to instantly boost your mood. Plus, I love how both Lilly and J.Crew are really embracing tiered dresses in colorful prints for spring!
Do you have a favorite spring dress you can’t wait to wear?
