I don’t know how I survived before Amazon Prime. Okay, that might be slightly dramatic I admit but it feels that way. And just when I thought my Prime addiction was under control, here we are at Amazon Prime Day.
Side note: I recently discovered the Amazon Books store in Georgetown… I’ve picked up 4 books in the last 2 weeks alone. It’s the best spot to wander around but also incredibly dangerous. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya!
Amazon Prime Day kicked off yesterday but there’s still time to snag some awesome deals! I’ve rounded up my Amazon Prime Day picks and shared what ended up in my shopping cart this Prime Day:
Culinary
Spiralizer ($35 – originally $50)
I use my spiralizer just about every single day (Like here + here). My favorite easy dinner for the work week is a spiralized zucchini tossed with chopped tomatoes, a generous amount of red pepper flakes and a dollop of pesto (sometimes I’ll toss in chicken or salmon for protein). You can use this spiralizer for more than just zucchini though! I have a small kitchen with very very limited space so before I add a new tool to the crew, I make sure it’s worth the space. And guys, this is easily the best kitchen tool I’ve ever purchased.
Immersion Blender ($21!)
My immersion hand blender is right up there with my spiralizer in life-changing kitchen tool purchases. There is no way I could fit a regular blender on my postage stamp-sized counter. That’s where the immersion hand blender is a life/space saver. Whenever I’m making a smoothie or soup, I always reach for my hand blender. It gets the job done for a fraction of the space. This is the other kitchen tool I reach for most often.
Sous Vide Precision Cooker ($129 – originally $199)
After hearing several of my friends who love to cook swear up and down the sous vide was the greatest kitchen gadget, I decided to give it a whirl. I’ll be the proud owner of a sous vide precision cooker on Thursday and I can’t wait to take it for a spin on Friday. Maybe I’ll pick up steaks? If you own a sous vide, what do you make with it? Please send all tips and tricks, I’m a complete novice!
Instant Pot ($58 – originally $100)
I’m seriously toying with getting an Instant Pot on Amazon Prime Day. Like the sous vide, my friends rave about the Instant Pot and it seems to have quite the cult following. Should I do it?!
Beauty
Iceland Hydrating Eye Stick for Puffy Eyes ($7)
First things first, this might be the most adorable skincare product I have. I mean, it’s a polar bear!! The Iceland Hydrating Eye Stick for Puffy Eyes works really well and I’ll use it preemptively before I fall into bed late at night *pauses to apply*. Or I’ll swipe it on in the morning before I put on makeup to give my eyes a wake-up call.
Style
Professional Jewelry Cleaner ($26 – originally $65)
If you’re a jewelry girl, this item is perfect for you. I actually gifted this professional jewelry cleaner to my mom for Mother’s Day last year. Instead of going to the jewelry store to get your jewelry sparkling, this cleaner will get the job done. Anything that crosses things off my to-do list while keeping me in my PJs is a winner in my book.
Frye Riding Boots
It’s too hot to think about pulling on riding boots right now but when Frye riding boots are an Amazon Prime Day Deal, you push through the humidity haze. Their Melissa riding boots are marked down from $160-$350 depending on the leather’s color. Buy now and store for autumn!
Steve Madden Top Handle Leather Satchel ($88)
I am loving this Steve Madden satchel for work – and it comes in 3 colors! I’m leaning towards the blush satchel but you can also never go wrong with a good black work bag.
