Sharing 3 New Year’s Eve outfit ideas to ring in 2021! From sparkly glam to elevated loungewear, you’ll welcome 2021 in style.
J.Crew Factory Classic Turtleneck Sweater (I’m obsessed with this sweater, I bought in 2 different colors!) // Velvet Joggers // Small Gold Hoops // Pearl Headband // Plaid Loafers // Plaid Moccasins (Comes in Gray Stewart + Royal Stewart)
I’ll be ringing in 2021 with my family in Arizona so I’ll definitely be taking the cozy route when it comes to New Year’s Eve outfits. But just because you’re cozy doesn’t mean you can’t look, and more importantly, feel glam! I’ve got a pair of statement earrings that I think will go great with my parents’ cushy armchair and a glass of bubbly.
For this cozy + luxe lounge look, I’m loving these velvet joggers (they’re marked down to $36 right now). It’s the best of both worlds – the party look of velvet while the cozy cut of joggers.
I am obsessed with this classic turtleneck sweater from J.Crew Factory. The quality is SO good, it’s cozy, and pairs perfectly with jeans or leggings or French tucked into dress pants (or the velvet joggers) for a dressier look. This sweater runs TTS but if you want a more casual look, I’d size up.
Dudley Stephens Park Slope (I recommend sizing up, Monica is a Dudley pro and gave me this tip!) // J.Crew Factory Pleated Skirt // Pearl Cluster Earrings (I can’t stop wearing these earrings, they’re $48) // J.Crew Factory D’orsay Heels (On sale for $59)
I might be getting a little ambitious here with the heels but in case you’re feeling like heels, I thought I’d share an outfit idea for a cozy chic look.
I was initially very skeptical of the Dudley Stephens fleece turtlenecks. But after being influenced by Monica, they are the real deal and I love reaching for them. Their Park Slope is perfect to dress up or down. But my favorite part of the Park Slope, and why it’s my #1 favorite style from Dudley Stephens, is that you can wear the collar up high OR you can roll the collar down to create a faux boatneck neckline. In fact, I’m wearing a Park Slope rolled down right now!
I love this look – the fleece turtleneck keeps it cozy and the green pleated skirt gives it that holiday feel.
The pearl cluster earrings are one of my favorite purchases this year from Tuckernuck. I wear these earrings when I want to look professional but they’re also perfect for a chic detail to dress up an outfit. They’re $48 and trust me, you’ll definitely wear them at least 48 times (I know I have).
Tuckernuck Disco Ball Earrings ($48) // Tuckernuck Mason Blouse (Also comes in white + navy) // J.Crew Jamie Pants (Also comes in velvet!) // D’orsay Heels
I know! For someone who will admittedly be in cozy loungewear when midnight strikes, I keep including these heels. But I love the look of a D’orsay heel!
Can we discuss for a minute how much fun these disco ball earrings are?! Tuckernuck has become a favorite spot for me to find fun statement earrings. I own the raffia version of these earrings and wore them all summer long. Now, I get that $48 is a bit much for statement earrings that you really can only wear during the holidays but I know I’d be reaching for these earrings all holiday season long for holiday parties (fingers crossed for 2021!).
Speaking of Tuckernuck, I’m a big fan of their Mason blouses – you can’t see it in this collage but this blouse has an adorable bow detail in the back. It also comes in white and navy, this is definitely a top you can wear all year long!
However you’re ringing in in New Year’s Eve, I hope you have a wonderful and safe time celebrating getting through this roller coaster of a year.
