I have been wearing shirtdresses nonstop this summer. Now that I am working from home, shirtdresses hit all my criteria: they are a chic way to look professional on-camera and comfortable for those back-to-back meetings. Plus, I love their versatility! Pair with a scarf to look polished for work. When the work day ends, I trade in the scarf for a baseball hat and sneakers to look more casual yet put-together on evening walks with Riley. About My Amazon Shirtdress:
I’ve been a loyal Royal Shirtdress wearer for years at this point (style ideas here and here). But I love how this Amazon shirtdress offers sleeveless – key for those hot, humid days.
This $35 sleeveless shirtdress comes in a variety of colors, including navy, black, a medium pink, and hunter green. The fabric is a blend of polyester and linen. While it arrived quite wrinkled, it was nothing a good ironing (delicate setting) didn’t quickly resolve. There is a good amount of stretch to this dress. The dress isn’t lined but don’t worry, it’s not see-through at all!
The swing style means it’s quite roomy so I would recommend sizing down one. I’m wearing a medium. I also love how the v-neck on this dress allows for necklaces to really pop.
And I saved the best part for last – it has two deep pockets!!

For a chic casual look, can you really go wrong with a sweater around your shoulders? I think not. Even while it’s scorching hot out, I like to keep at least a sweater on me for indoors when the AC is blasting. The stripe pattern on this sweater breaks up the neutrals of this outfit with white sneakers and woven straw tote. Any brightly colored sweater would work well with this outfit!
P.S. This tote is so durable! It’s been perfect for weekend trips to the farmer’s market for summer tomatoes.
