My Trader Joe’s Haul February 2023

I popped into TJ’s this weekend without a grocery list or game plan. My only goal was to pick up tried ‘n true favorites and new items I’ve been wanting to try. Let’s walk through my Trader Joe’s Haul February 2023.

My Trader Joe's Haul February 2023

I’m so happy to be sharing my Trader Joe’s hauls again! Normally when I go to Trader Joe’s, or really any grocery store, I always walk in prepared with a game plan and a list pulled up on my Notes. This time though I decided to just go for it. I hadn’t been in a Trader Joe’s for almost a month and was running low on my favorite items and saw a bunch of new products that I am excited to try.

Into Trader Joe’s I went to peruse, browse, and enjoy. I haven’t tried all of the new products yet so stay tuned for more in-depth reviews over on my Instagram.

Trader Joe’s Haul February 2023

Tried ‘n True Favorites:

Dill-icious Chopped Salad Kit:

This is my favorite salad kit from Trader Joe’s and is, in my opinion, perfect. It contains cauliflower, radishes, cabbage, and kale and includes packets of “Chips In a Pickle” (aka dill pickle flavored potato chips), dill pickle flavored seasoning, and a dill cucumber ranch dressing. The greens mix is really filling on its own and I love the crunch of the potato chips. This is a favorite easy lunch to make for one person and if I’m extra hungry, I’ll add salmon (Trader Joe’s Salmon Burgers are great in the Air Fryer) or Just Bare chicken nuggets from Costco.

Spicy Chai Latte Mix:

The chai latte mix might be my most often purchased item from TJ’s. I’ve been purchasing it regularly since college. It makes a creamy, delicious cup of chai and at $5/jar, it’s much more budget-friendly than going to Starbucks every day. I get about a week’s worth of chai from this.

Organic Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper Soup:

You can find this shelf-stable boxed soup next to the broths. I love this soup for an easy lunch or a light dinner and have for years (we’re talking over a decade). I will pour around 2 cups into a bowl and add a spoonful of TJ’s jarred pesto and either red pepper flakes or Italian Bomba Hot Pepper Sauce to give it a little kick. In the microwave, about 90 seconds will do the trick.

Daily Facial Sunscreen:

I wrote about this daily facial sunscreen back in August because it was going viral as a possible Supergoop dupe. Trader Joe’s beauty and skincare products are sneakily very good so I have no doubt that this sunscreen comes from the same manufacturer. I like this as a good everyday sunscreen that isn’t irritating on the eyes and absorbs quickly with no residue or scent. It’s also great as a matte primer before applying makeup.

Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc and Viognier:

This $12 wine is a favorite for both James and me. It pairs really well with seafood!

Celine Cotes de Provence Rosé:

This rosé is $8 and is a dry, crisp wine. It’s a good bottle to have on-hand for parties or just if you need a glass of rosé on a Tuesday.

New Items:

Calabrian Chili Spicy Pasta Sauce:

I’m mildly optimistic about this sauce. I am a HUGE fan of Trader Joe’s Italian Bomba Hot Pepper Sauce ft. Calabrian chilis (so good on pizza, roasted veggies, over hummus) but Trader Joe’s Calabrian Chili Tomato Dumpling Soup really fell flat for me. Fingers crossed this pasta sauce is a winner – especially because I love a pasta sauce with zip.

Ubriaco al Cabernet:

This is a “hard cheese aged in Cabernet wine and grape marc.” I picked it up for a mini-charcuterie board for James and me (cheese, Trader Joe’s Fig and Olive Crisps, and salami). I’m excited to try this cheese because TJ’s really knocks it out of the park with their Creamy Toscano Cheese Soaked in Syrah and this cheese seems like it would be similar.

Sweet Cannoli Dip:

Okay, this is the first new item I tried because how could I not?! I have a sweet tooth that rears its ugly head before bedtime. I thought this sweet cannoli dip would be a good spoonful snack when that sweet tooth strikes. It’s SO GOOD! It took all my power not to eat this entire container with a spoon. It would also be an excellent rim for a delicious cocktail.

Cinnamon Bun Inspired Joe-Joe’s:

These cookies are dangerously delicious and I’m already planning to pick up another box. If you enjoy a good cinnamon roll, treat yourself and add these to your cart. Pro tip: Dip this cookie into the sweet cannoli dip, you’ll thank me later!

Dill-icious Seasoned Cold-Smoked Salmon:

One of my favorite low-carb breakfasts is a salad of arugula, sliced avocado, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and a generous sprinkling of Everything But The Bagel Seasoning. I’m already a HUGE fan of Trader Joe’s Dill-icious line (the chopped salad, the potato chips, the In A Pickle seasoning) so I have high expectations for this smoked salmon. I think it’ll be a great addition to my breakfast bagel salad.

Cleansing and Conditioning Hair Wash:

This product is brand new on the shelves and claims to be “gentle and moisturizing, generally suitable for all hair types.” It also says it is “sulfate, silicone, detergent, and paraben free.” I haven’t tried it yet but I will say the grapefruit and mint scent gave me immediate spa feelings so I can’t wait to give it a whirl!

Vitamin C Firming Body Butter:

This new product is made with glycolic acid and has a bright clementine scent (can confirm it does). Glycolic acid works to exfoliate the skin, speed up cell turnover, and boost collagen production – all great things, right? With the recent freezing temperatures and blustery winds, my skin has taken a real beating and needs as much moisture as possible. I can’t wait to try this body butter out.

Chews Me Sweet Cream Flavored Dental Sticks for Dogs:

Obviously this is for Riley. The dental sticks are for dogs that are 8-30 lbs. Riley is around 40 lbs so these sticks are a treat, not a substitute for her everyday greenie. Riley has enjoyed these so far!

Reef ‘n Beef Dog Treats:

Riley has loved all of Trader Joe’s dog treats so far and this canine surf ‘n turf treat was no exception. She was enthused as soon as I opened the bag and I think she’ll enjoy when I pull these treats out until the bag is empty.
